A work of art, a presence 

Each clock is dressed in a veneered finish of fine wood, chosen for its natural beauty and its warm touch. The words, cut with delicate precision, light up to write the hour with a discreet, almost meditative elegance. In a living room, a study or a bedroom, the clock becomes a calming presence — a breath of light that accompanies the room without ever dominating it.

How does the word clock work? 

The clock spells the time out in full. Every 5 minutes the right words light up; between two steps, a discreet progress bar fills to mark the passing time.

• Automatic time setting: the clock sets itself, with no intervention.
• App control: letter colour, phrasing style (“quarter past twelve” or “twelve fifteen”), bar colour, brightness.
• Adaptive brightness: a sensor adjusts the light to the ambient level, or set it manually.
• Perfectly silent: 100% LED technology, no ticking.
• Low power consumption: low-consumption LEDs, even light.
• Simple installation: wall-mounted, or standing on furniture thanks to the bead-blasted aluminium easel stand — both supplied for the 100 cm and 45 cm models. The 30 cm model stands only on its easel stand (supplied): it cannot be hung on a wall.

Four finishes, four moods

Choose the tone that speaks to you, according to the atmosphere you wish to create:

• Aube Érable (maple) — a soft, luminous clarity, for a pared-back interior.
• Zénith Chêne (oak) — a sunlit, contemporary and warm shade.
• Crépuscule Palissandre (rosewood) — a dense, nuanced wood that evokes amber end-of-day light.
• Minuit Ébène (ebony) — a deep, mysterious contrast where every word becomes a star.

A connected, intelligent clock

Your clock sets itself automatically, with nothing for you to do. The Aurachronis app — available on the App Store and Google Play — lets you change the colour of the letters to suit the mood, customise the display style and set the clock with ease. It also lets you manage several clocks from a single account, ideal for hotels with one clock per room. The clock adapts to you, to your interior, to your wishes.

The progress bar: time flowing in silence

Beneath the words, a discreet bar follows the passing of time. The clock advances in 5-minute steps; between two moments, the bar fills slowly, revealing what unfolds between two sentences.

Handcrafted in France, and numbered

Each Aurachronis is shaped in our workshop in Pusignan, and takes about one week of work. Cutting, veneering, integration of the connected electronics, calibration and testing: everything passes through our hands. And because no two are quite alike, every clock is numbered.
